Chinatsu Kuramoto (倉本 千夏, Kuramoto Chinatsu) is the daughter of Keiji Kuramoto and Nana Kuramoto, the younger sister of Kei Kuramoto and the cousin of Akane Kowata and Makoto Kowata who later becomes Akane's apprentice witch to learn more about magic and to later become a real witch.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Chinatsu is a cute girl with black hair that is tied pigtails and grey eyes.

She wears her 'channeling item' for magic, a toy ring, sometimes.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Chinatsu is usually a cheerful who was at first afraid of Makoto Kowata, but she now acts towards her as a friend.

History[edit | edit source]

Chinatsu was not a born witch, like Akane, but instead decided to train as one like Akane’s sister Makoto.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Chinatsu’s channeling item, a ring, once acted as a squirt gun. Chinatsu also once demonstrated shooting fire from her hand.

Akane Kowata[edit | edit source]

As Akane's trainee, the two often interact and act as best friends.

Nats Asagiri[edit | edit source]

Nats taught Chinatsu how to play checkers better, and Nats also came up with the rule 'loser takes a beating'. Nats is Chinatsu's friend.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

  • The name Chinatsu means "thousand" (千) (chi) and "summer" (夏) (natsu).
  • Chinatsu's surname Kuramoto means "warehouse" (倉) (kura) and "base, root, rogin" (本) (moto).
