Makoto Kowata (木幡真琴 Kowata Makoto) is the main protagonist. She is a witch in training, originally from Yokohama, who comes to live with her relatives in Aomori.

Appearance

Makoto is a teenage girl with long, black hair styled in a hime cut, and large green eyes. She has one strip of hair set in front of her shoulders on either side while the rest of her hair is behind her back. She tends to wear baggier clothes but she changes her outfits frequently. She tends to wear peach and blue colors a lot. She'll have a brown purse with her when she goes out to the store or on a walk.

Personality

Makoto is nice and towards Akane Kowata, she tries to fit the 'little sister' stereotype. Towards Nao Ishiwatari, she is friendly and caring, even showing Nao of her radish garden to help Nao's desire to be skinnier. Towards Chinatsu Kuramoto, she usually lets her in on witchy secrets, trying her best to be a 'mentor' along with Akane. Towards Kei Kuramoto, she shows the same friendliness that she uses with Nao. Makoto is known for getting lost, even getting lost going around her own home. The girl is very kind, and is always trying her best.

Abilities

As with all witches, she can cast spells of all kinds and fly on a broomstick- although she isn't the best at it.
